BD H5900

I just bought a new BD H5900 and am trying to change the app country, I have tried the >>289<< method but can't get the country list up.

I also notice that when I do a reset, there is no terms to check, it just runs to network set up and then completes.

Can anybody help with this please. I bought the player in the USA and would like to set it to the UK I have overplay DNS already and changing the DNS in the machine doesn't do anything.

You have to press the buttons at home screen. If you turn your player on, you have to wait until it connects to internet before you press the buttons. It worked for my H6500.

Update: Having spent a couple of days trying the >>289<< method on the H5900 with absolutely no luck, including the DVD region change I purchased a H6500 and have easily changed the app country!!
