Have a simple question but getting conflicting answers

Post by SailingAway »

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a Samsung bluray player to use with my Samsung model UN32H5203 smart tv. I understand you're able to connect an external USB drive to these bluray players to play local video files on the tv. If I do this, and if I connect the bluray player to my home network using the ethernet port, will I be able to access the USB drive connected to the player from my PC on the same network in order to add files to the drive?

No. You will be disappointed :) Without rooting (which may not be possible for this device) you will not be able to do much :)
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!
