Digital optic audio output EH5300 problem

Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago i bought the 40" EH5300. This week i decided to hook it up to my home cinema speakers using an optic cable(toslink).
When I watch tv through the digital build in tuner everything is fine and the external speakers work.

But... when I try to play a movie using a USB stick there is no sound. Not even smarthub is generating any sound to the speakers.

Does the TV only support "digital/optical audio out" from the digital built in tuner? are there any setting I need to adjust? Or are there some factory settings that can be changed to bring sound from the digital output my external speakers?

I hope someone can give me an answer.

It seems that digital output is available only when signal is coming from DVB.
Signals in streaming or from USB do not have output on any connector.
This was discovered also by another user.

Quite disturbing .....
