Partial firmware update. Bricked ue48h6400.

My kid unfortunately pressed the power button while automatic firmware update was taking place ( around 70% was over ). The tv restarted without problem. I then did a manual online update. The tv said update successful( It was quicker than I expected, may be 2 -3 min) and showed correct updated firmware version. But it hanged few times at various random occasions before it died completely. Now the tv doesnt boot. Just the red led at bottom right keeps blinking with a shorter and a longer blink period.My tv model is UE48H6400. Please pardon me if this is not the right place. This is my first post. Thanks in advance.

Claim warranty. Don't tell failure is (possibly) due to fw upgrade in case Samsung would apply their outlaw policy:

Firmware errors and main board failures are not covered by Samsung warranty policy.

Just say "It stopped to work, no idea why"

Thanks .Unfortunately it's a manufacturer refurbished one. Is there any way I can factory reset the tv firmware. Some button combination or so? If not ill go for the 6 months rtb warranty. I have few months left.

No, there's no way to revert firmware. And if you say that TV reported succesful upgrade, maybe your problem has even nothing to do with its interruption. It could be simply out of order for another (hardware) reason.

yes. officially i was informed that the process was successful and it showed me the latest firmware version. I think i'll try for the warranty i have. Thanks for the help.
