Setting persistent audio channel on DTV

Hello everyone! I wonder if what I want is possible (either stock or after rooting).

I have a DTV channel (Boomerang) which transmits audio in multiple languages Romanian and English). Tv is set to prefer Romanian globally and I can switch to English manually via tools. The problem is that this preference is lost once I change the channel.

Is there a way to force it to remember English for that channel? I'd like to have it in English so that the kids have an incentive to want to learn it
