Re: [HELP!] UE55B7000 Bricked! - Boot Loop after SamyGO FW flash
Hi mestief, actually "the only thing you need to do" is to: rm /mtd_rwarea/PartitionSwitch_0_0 touch /mtd_rwarea/PartitionSwitch_1_0 as this would force your TV to boot from its backup image which should normally still be 100% OK! However, this is easier said then done ... A couple question...

Re: Porting Yahoo widgets
I remember something about needing to do a Factory Reset and to go through the entire set-up.
Only changing the Country on an already initialized TV didn't work.
Also there is an option to change the country in the Service Menue, which you should also consider if that doesn't work.

Re: Setting up a cross compiling toolchain
Thank you dynamic1969 and marcelru for your good work, script works without problems on (x)ubuntu 9.10 You're welcome and thanks for the feedback - I'll see to get the scripts / files uploaded into the SamyGo Download area then. perhaps you want to try using prebuilt packages instead? This is defin...

Re: Setting up a cross compiling toolchain
Hi easy2003, I got the x-compiler successfully set-up on Xubuntu 9.10 and had used the patches and script marcelr provided earlier ( I have just modified them slightly for sake of comfort and to make it run on a "virgin" Xubuntu 9.10 install ) You can download a tar-file with the script an...

Re: mounting & modifying exe.img
Hi arris,
does the loop device work OK with non RFS images ? Did you test that ?
I'd also be interested to understand how created the loop-devices ? Could you share, as to which steps you have taken ?
Thanks!

Re: mounting & modifying exe.img
Has anyone managed to set-up a loop-device on the TV, so that we could mount the "exe.img" as RW from USB via a loop-device ? Actually mounting e.g. mtd_exe ( /dev/tbml8 ) like shown below: mount -t rfs /dev/tbml8 /mtd_new_exe will give you a RW image. You'll even be able modify files, add...
