min firmware for HBO GO widget

Hello

I have a Samsung F8500 with recent mainboard change and currently with firmware 1114 (FXPDEUC).
All widgets are functioning but HBO GO. Samsung support would like to upgrade the firmware to the latest. Me not
1. My question to you is if you know what is the minimum firmware version to run HBO GO?
The application is starting then I am blocked at a logo of HGO GO without arriving to point of login.
2. Now I have root with samygo (thank you for this!). The next firmware ver that I found is 1135. If I upgrade to 1135 I will lose the root or any access in extended service menu?

History of actions:
I have already done the reset of country, reset of hub, change of country (to erase all widgets), factory reset from extended service menu, repeat again change of country (to erase all widgets). All done without and with root.
Unblock the updates in router, temporary.
Now I have root with samygo and blocked the updates in router and in service menu.

I tried firmware 1115 (upgraded from 1114) and still no results for this widget. Reset again country and hub.
Rooted again, samygoso, libfactory. Checked the service settings. Root works find. Other widgets work also.

I tried on all links on this forum here and even translated some russian forum pages but I did not find the firmware FXPDEUC 1116 or 1117.
I am in process for donor but paymium moves very slowly and anyway nobody is saying what firmware versions are available there (it is a secret ).

I have found the links original Samsung links to FXPDEUC firmware 1115.0, 1118.0, 1120.4 and some later 1125,1132 versions. Here are the ones tested and downloaded:

I have read that after 1125 the OTN gets grey so for the moment I will try to stay below that version.

I have the same problem like you but I am not so brave to upgrade it. I think 1118 is the maximum safe hardware. My TV is F8000

How the app behaves in your case? In my case just stuck on startup screen.

Yes, the HBO GO is stuck in HBO GO logo (initially there is a message loading app HBO GO then appears HBO GO logo).

I have upgraded to 1118.
Now I still have the widgets SamyGo. I have restored it (Red button) and tried new Install. If worked with OK on all lines but Telnet is not working anymore: "Connection refused".
I moved on to next root method "Rooting E/F on latest firmwares". Root works.
Reset TV from normal menu. Changed country from Smart hub to erase all aps incl HBO GO. Changed country back.

HBO GO is still getting stuck in HBO GO logo.
D*** it.

I need help of an expert here on forum otherwise I will be upgrading to eternity without knowing where to stop.

Now you're using "root for latest fw", just upgrade to... latest! (1135, confirmed to work) or step by step as you wish
Unlikely that Samsung will block anything on 2013 TVs from now on anyway (not even a year remaining before end of support...)

What is your advice for upgrade it. Using Samsung way or there is some specific procedure? At the moment my Software Upgrade menu from Support is grey out so I can't select it (Ota is disabled from service menu)
Should we block the updates servers after all is any point to go and check for Ota from service mode after the upgrade? Thanks

I was of course talking about USB/Manual upgrade of your own will, at the time you decide with the version you've choosen, NOT (and never) to trust OTN

No service menu stuff disables manual updates (nothing to do with OTA), "Software Upgrade" menu greyed out is (unexpected but welcome!) side-effect of root IIRC. Just boot TV without root USB plugged and it shouldn't remain greyed.

It works again with firmware 1125.1. Yeeiii
