Blu-Ray player imported from another country

Good morning to all, I'm interested in buying the Samsung M9500 BD player. I live in Italy and the model sold here is the "UBD-M9500/ZF".
A friend of mine is in England until Tuesday and he said to me that in UK the M9500 is sold at a much lower price, so he proposed to me to buy the BD player there. The model sold there is the "UBD-M9500/XU".
My questions is: will I have problems (eg.downlaoding italian apps from the store) using that model here in Italy? Is there a way to modify the model (Service Menu?) to "UBD-M9500/ZF"?

Please reply as soon as possible, the friend of mine will return to Italy on Tuesday. I do not have much time to decide...

Letters at the end are not a problem, only manufacturing information, models should be basically same and setup country to Italy should be enough.
Doesn't avoid risk to buy "elsewhere" though (warranty...)
