I don,t understand you.
I enter to service menu.
Then Option.
Last -MRT Option
But It aren't the options "Instant On" and "Always Instant On Support" to disable.

Check wiki and/or search forum for "extended" service menu.

For info, it should be possible to access extended service menu as soon as you get root, by sending from terminal:

Code: Select all

samyGOrc KEY_INFO KEY_FACTORY
No matter if "Instant stuff" is disabled ASAP, and not necessarily as mandatory first step of rooting procedure.

Hello, I followed the process but I get the attached error when running the samygo app on tv. I have some doubts, when I turn on the TV I do not know if the root process should start automatically or I should do it when I start the samygo app on tv. When I start the app, sometimes I see a kind of clock, sometimes I see a message that says "Error in the execution" and "Others" the error appears on the screen. I tried with the usb behind the tv and in the hub, but it does not work. I enter by ftp to the ip of the tv putting user root and pass blank and does not connect. Any help?Image

Such output is expected, you have to WAIT as told, and of course prepared USB MUST be plugged. Follow procedure carefully, nothing more, nothing less.

Hello, I can confirm that after launching SamyGO application in 50% attempts only small spinning wheel turns up on the right corner and I have to restart TV in order to start app. again to reach the root. But root works then.

Don't be too quick to start widget after TV bootup. The quicker you are, the most likely it will crash that way (users with Exlink can see crashdump there). Don't forget TV is booting and starting shitloads (useless? bloatware) stuff in the background.
From what I tried, TV is not "completely held" when it happens, and you have another chance after a minute or so, as soon as smarthub wants to show up again (and possibly once you pressed EXIT to get out of that "spinning wheel")
Note that in any case, it remains usual to get a crash "sometimes" on widget launch with such in-depth rooting techniques now needed :)
