firmware downgrade??

I have a un70ku6300 (usa) model - how can I downgrade to an earlier firmware version?? - I have downloaded from the Samsung website, put it on a thumb drive, but the TV does not see it at all? is there a way you can do it thru the service menu or something?

No, you can't.

Theoreticly, new firmware number has to be bigger than the current one to upgrade. So why not to download some older firmware and crack it somehow changing it's number to bigger? Then the tv would think that you are upgrading it with newer firmware. The problem might be that the downloaded firmware is encrypted, but the people who already has root and access to the tv's filesystem suppose to figure it out how the tv decrypt it and be able to do the same with the downloaded file.

The procedure is the same as for J-root

As said before. There is no other way how to downgade. Unfortunately.
