I have a 2016 KS8000 that I am interested in enabling PVR support on. Anyone tried on this TV. Any guidance appreciated!

I guys,
Like many, I want to record from a HDMI cable to a USB disk,
TV is a Samsung un40h5003af, after, if I finally success, I will try on on a UN50EH5300.
My 240gb SSD disk is unformatted.
I've tried the following to enable the PVR...

I go in extended service mode via [INF0] + [factory]
I set [PVR support: On], [Number of PVR record: 1], [Local set: Carribe], [OTA support: Off]
I do [Reset] the TV. The TV goes Off by itself.
Power on, do the short Samsung setup, then,
nothing happen if I connect the USB disk in any USB port.
No formatting suggestion asked. If I push the red [Record] button I got [Not available],
same as for [Play],[Pause],[Stop],[Forward], and [Rewind].
The [Guide] button say: This function is only available when TV is selected as a source.

If I return in advanced menu, my settings are still there.
TV firmware was never updated. T-NT14MAKUC-1170.1
If I select as another source a USB drive with MP4 on it, [Play],[Pause],[Stop],[Forward], and

[Rewind] buttons works fine.

Are un40h5003af and UN50EH5300 able to record?
Did I miss something?

I'd like your impression, thanks...
