Okay I understand the situation.
Your device is not CI+. But don't know why you cant drop the Linux Shell via ExLink Cable & console.
CTRL+C needed to work. At least works on B650's.
So can't help about it.
For devices without game menu, you can change clmata.dat file at package.

Modify the "Game" string with the "Gallery"
<category>Game</category> to <category>Gallery</category>
Some says that is works and other says it's not. But I think it's worth for try.

Although T-CHEAUSC is compatible with SamyGO firmware patcher. When 1016 Firmware released officially, you can use SamyGO Firmware Patcher too.
