I think its better to include your device model.
I know there is tbml devices that has your bootimage.
tbml6 is a root image at my LExxB65x and It looks like tbml7 is a my boot image which is 2MB at length.
For an idea, do you tried to update tbml7 directly?

Do you tried to update your boot partition via /dev/bml1/7 ?
I thought that a command like this:

Code: Select all

bml.restore /dev/tbml7 /dtv/usb/sda1/dev_bml0_07_original
could restore your flash too (as an idea)

Do you stopped the watchdog and killed exeDSP before trying to update right?

Hi,
I do not have answers to your questions, but I think you can find some resources that can help you at Samsung's Flash software page. Overal OneNAND architecture is discussed at several places, one of them is RFS 1.3.0 Porting Guide_v1.13.
