Hi guys,
I just have an small network connectivity issue that happens to me, and that probably also happens to someone of you.
When I start TV, sometimes it does not respond to PING or SSH attempts until I force a "network test". This also happens after a while if I don't try to access the TV. For example, I access the TV using SSH and then logout. After 10-20m, I try again to do "ssh root@TV", but then I get "connection failure". If I try to PING the TV, I obtain no response. However, if I go to menu display, and select network test, it "magically" starts responding.
Has anyone suffered the same issue?
Best regards,
Alejandro
TV stops listening in the network after a while
Re: TV stops listening in the network after a while
I had some problem when i had IP conflict on network. My tv IP was set manually and computer got the same IP via dhcp from router. What i noticed at first: my program guide stopped to work properly. It started working well just after i checked network settings and accidentally found the problem. Silly, right?

Re: TV stops listening in the network after a while
Hi,
I have the problem even when using DHCP. That fact is that currently my TV is 192.168.1.101 (statically assigned), but router is assigning numbers over 192.168.1.130.
I will continue making tests. If I find out something, I will publish it here just in case someone can find it usefull

Solved,
it was the router, nor the TV. I changed it for a Linksys, and all works as should be
