I'm very enthousiastic about PVR+ and like to install it on my LE40B652(T4PXZG) with CI+. I'm also very cautious changing firmware and downgrading. I succesfully managed to modify firmware SWU_T-CHL7DEUC_002005_I02_ES000DS000_090930 with the geopatcher tool. On the TV SWU_T-CHLCIPDEUC_002008_I02_ES000DS000_100620 is installed. Do I have to downgrade first with the dangerous Force Firmware Back or is it possible directly to install the modified firmware as is normal on a Samsung TV. What would be wise.

TV won`t accept your patched firmware.
So you have to downgrade first. FFB is safe enough (but none can be 100% sure, right?)

It`s up to you what to do. If you read my FFB manual, you would know, you have to use only original firmware for downgrading.

First: downgrade with original.
Second: install your modified firmware.

Here were bricks due used patched firmware (with errors) and after FFB tv bricked. Just because user ignored patcher errors. Since this i only force users to use original firmwares to be used with FFB.

If I am going to use FFB my TV doesn't seem in the list of supported TV's because the current firmware(SWU_T-CHLCIPDEUC_002008_I02_ES000DS000_100620) is newer and not in the list.
SUPPORTED TV MODELS ONLY:

LCD
LExxB65x - firmware: T-CHL7DEUC
LExxB75x - firmware: T-CHL7DEUC

CI+ models:

UExxB7000/8000 - firmware: T-CHUCIPDEUC (3000.0)
PSxxB85x - firmware: T-CHUCIPDEUC (3000.0)
LExxB65x/750 - firmware: T-CHLCIPDEUC (2006.0)
PSxxB860 - firmware: T-CHLCIPDEUC (2006.0)

Your firmware is listed and supported. That means, you can downgrade to T-CHLCIPDEUC-2006.0

From the good old FM-list I'm not able to download

SWU_T-CHLCIPDEUC_002006_I02_ES000DS000_091112

Does this one work?

SWU_T-CHLCIPDEUC_002007_I02_ES000DS000_100114

Sorry, found a link in your manual
