if you have your balls big enough you can be the first to try.
I will try to update when it will be released for UE40D6100 model. Maximum what i will loose is the remote access. which will be possible to gget again since - Support Remote Service if i understand it right

make me a d-series as present and first thing what i will do is a firmupdate... (here is just a b-sereies and i'm not willing to support "pushout a new model every 8 month" philosophie)
think the "Support Remote Service" mean "Remote Service Support" we noticed this in some us model firmware has nothing to do remote access from samsung phone is something
to acces your tv from samsung support center or tv uploads some logfiles to samsung server...
