D5700 Mipsel ... some chance to test Samygo rooting

Post by fathermande »

Hi,

Question is in the title

D5700 have SmartHub ... widget and Ethernet link ... If we trust Samsung ... Widget are independent of the platform supporting SmartHub ???
SamyGo extension ... exist for MIPSEL ...

Testers are ready (like me  ) I have also a B series with Samygo extension

... So what are the % of chance to have one version .... ???

like 0% then the smarthub for mips seems just work with javascript (but limited on fileoperations) and flash (swf stuff)
but if you like to check some stuff or you got an idea what we can try feel free to contact us :-)

more or less same as on b-series

execute a script from a widget, create files/symlinks outside of /mtd_down, load shared objects to init SDL or call glibc functions...
