Configure your TV as it UK, Germany... Samsung avoiding use of this widgets on some countries. I don't know why but this is a workaround.

I remember something about needing to do a Factory Reset and to go through the entire set-up.
Only changing the Country on an already initialized TV didn't work.
Also there is an option to change the country in the Service Menue, which you should also consider if that doesn't work.

For the widgets, it does not matter which country is set in the TV menu or service menu. You select a country in the Profile Widget.
By the way a workaround for the Yahoo Video widget is possible to avoid country restriction by faking the locale transmitted in the URL in the javascript source. This may be another thing to patch into the firmware.
