What about to dissable watchdog in service menu?
If does not help, then i think you can`t enable ROVI guide on those TV`s.

I also had serious issues with Rovi (very slow; consuming too much resources and slowing down Smart Hub; power on / off at night).

Updated to Rovi 2.07 (switching to Samsung EPG and switching back to Rovi does install the most recent release).

Causes lots of uncontrolled power offs / restarts; no significant improvement in general.

Then I got an intuition as some users does not complain about problems with the recent release.

I do use the internal Sat receiver (DVB-S); subsequently I do have about 1000 channels (due to automatic channel scan). Rovi needs to search for a huge amount of EPG data and needs to store and organize this.

This data volume is blocking the whole system.

I then reduced to about 100 channels and Rovi is working smoothly since three days.

This is logical but a hint in the user manual / from the support team of Samsung would have been helpful.

Nobody was mentioning this; Samsung advises me to take the TV from the main power as the problems were presumably caused by voltage swing.

Hopefully this information will safe other users some time in beta testing.
