Hi,
I have the HT-D5100 which has the B-FIRHTBEUC firmware as well. I didn't get into the SM. I tried all the different ways I found.
Are there any other ways?

try "Factory " followed by "3speed"

Read forum topics C and D series and try different methods... on my BD before firmware 1005 was also possible to enter Hotel Mode (C-series code)...so Samsung disable some functions/codes in new firmwares soon after was posted here...
My advice ...don't update firmware yet and keep trying ...
