[UE40D8000] - Question about Localization

Hi all,

first thing, I want to congratulate you for this fantastic and very interesting and useful forum. Simply GREAT!

I'm Italian and I bought the TV in question (UE40D8000) on the Slovak market. So I can't run the channel tuning with my proper localization. How can I fix this? I saw that you have created several tools for editing the channel list. So, I guess, this could be a solution.
But if I wanted to correct the problem definitively ..... is possible to flash the ROM/EEPROM and install a new firmware?? Or, without flashing, is possible to install a custom firmware that makes available the Italian localization?

Any information or advice is welcome!

Only 1 thing: it's all in German.....it's very difficult.....I guess there isn't an English version, right??
