D6000 supports 3d as is.
But here is no 2D->3D support. After changing to D6500 you get menu activated, but it still doesn`t support this feature.
That`s why you get green screen.

I believe this corruption / green screen due not installed 3D chips to MB.
I advice to look debug logs of TV via ExLink connection.
