Hi,
So I've got samyGO installed on D8000, and I'm trying to record TV over the network to the virtual USB (NAS). When I try, the computer tells me that I need to format the disk to do so. Is there anyway that I can get around this, as I have a lot of stuff on my NAS which I'm not really looking at formatting.
Many thanks!
D8000 record to NFS without format
Re: D8000 record to NFS without format
Samygo Update fixed that: forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2785
Though latest is already Update 2 (which includes the previous Update): forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=3155

Re: D8000 record to NFS without format
Thanks for the info. I tried updating to the latest update 2, but when I try to record to the Virtual USB device, it still comes up with the prompt "The currently connected USB device may not support recording. Would you like to format the device?"
WHen I choose yet, it goest into the "Device Format" menu, but I'm not given the option to format any device...?

Re: D8000 record to NFS without format
Also, I tried sticking in a FAT formatted USB and it's still asking me to format it to record to it... I do see on startup of Samygo that it says something along the lines of skip XFS check... suceeded!
So not sure why it's still not working...

Sounds like the same issues as mentioned in the Update thread: forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2785
