There is no support for your TV modal now.
Also we don't inspect D550 hardware yet.
I think it's possible to hack your TV to make it compatible with DD through HDMI but don't know who will make or when...

I have a brand new UN46D6000 and would love to be able to passthrough Dolby Digital from my cable box through my Samsung to the Receiver.
Has their been a software mod developed to do so?

Fixed. Went to my cable box menu and enabled "passthrough". It now works flawlessly. Hope this helps.
