Upgrading firmware D6200?

Dear Readers,

I bought a UE40D6200 with the 1014 firmware version. I was missing the PVR function so I switch my model via the menu to a UE40D6300 (which works perfect).
My question is, there is a firmware upgrade on the samsung site for my TV (T-GAS6DEUC-1018.4) with faster CI+ support etc, and I was wondering if someone can confirm that this hack via ruSamsungTVCommunicator with changing the model still works with that firmware!

Same firmware for your listed models doesnt give any noticeable speed for your tv. But its up to you upgradw or not.
With 1018 (and 1017 too) you lose ability to run SamyGO.
