I purchased a Samsung BD-D8500 so I could recieve HD channels. At first I had a really old aerial and the cable was knackered. I had to wait too get that replaced so I focused on fixing this stupid flickering problem when I was wathcing Blu-rays. (Thankfully I've sorted that)
Now I'm trying to find out.. why when I do an auto or manual tune the unit refuses to pick up the HD channels.
I have just had a brand new aeiral and cable installed the signal is so good it keeps making copies of the channels...installing them twice.
I have knowticed on some Samsung guides in pictures that United Kingdom is listed underneath the channel settings, but not on my unit. I have every other Country except the UK which is where I am. So at the current moment it is set to others...but I believe this is the problem after trying every think else.
Again though can anyone help me at all here?? I've heard that there is a service / engineers menu for the product so wonder if that is what I need maybe? If so does anyone know the code or how I access it
