FTP/Samba access to NTFS drive is read-only

Not sure it's the right forum, but since I have a UE40D6500, I post it in the D forum.

My TV has been rooted, and I have FTP and Samba access to the drives.

I have partitioned a 2TB HDD in two partitions. The first partition is formatted in XFS and I use if for my recordings. It works fine.

The second partition is formatted in NTFS, and used to store mainly 3D video files created from BDs. It works fine too, but I can't use my FTP connection to write to that partition. It seems that the NTFS partition can be mounted only in read-only mode. I would like to be able to use FTP to transfer files from my PC directly to the NTFS partition via FTP (or Samba share).

Is it possible to mount the NTFS partition in read and write mode? How?

Sorry if it's a noob question. I'm not a Linux king, and I've only tried to edit the fstab file, but the USB drive is not present in that file (probably because it is auto-mounted when it is connected). I would appreciate any help.

you have to use ntfs-3g driver to mount ntfs drive as rw.
Tool is included to SamyGO Extensions pack.

Thanks for the pointer. But note that my TV has been only partially rooted. I have the latest firmware, and I can't install SamyGo apps. I had to use the Hospitality mode hack. Only NTFS and Samba are working correctly. Will it be possible to install the driver? Is it compatible with the UE40D6500 (ARM) running T-GASDEUC-1018.0?

Also, it it possible to install only the NTFS 3G driver without installing the other tools included in the pack?

Sorry again, but on the SamyGo Extension pack page, I can't find any info about the D series, and I must admit that the explanations are mostly Chinese for me.
