Hi I am a longtime member and use samygo with great pleasure. Thanks to all the hard working developers.
Thank you all !
I have UE37DDD6500 TV with T-GASDEUC-1015.1 ( the good old firmware !)
I have the latest samygo updated and have ticker enabled for samygo at boot up.
There are 2 problems :
1. When samygo starts at switch on of the TV it installs properly and exit the smart and returns to TV
A few moments later I see error 404 the page cannot be displayed in the left upper corner.
Does it signal a problem ?
Sammy go runs OK. The PVR function works OK.
I can record on a USB stick OK ( I use Samsung_USB_adjuster to have my USB flash memory enabled after formatting )2.
2. When I schedule a recording with EPG with the TV in stand-by ( red POWER LED burns)
The LED goes dark at the proper EPG time and the recording seems to start but because the TV did not switch on
the ticker did not start Samygo and the recording is encrypted.
Is ther anybody that can help with these problems ?
autostart samygo and recording schedule problem
Re: autostart samygo and recording schedule problem
1. this is not sighn of problems, just you have to place empty html page to SamyGO directory. It has been discussed somewhere on the forum already.
2. In this case you could use hospitality hack. Install it, install pvr dissable tool and you get your sheduled recordings encryption free.

Re: autostart samygo and recording schedule problem
Thank you juuso for quick answer.
1. I think this has nothing to do with html pages. It has something to do with the widget in samygo that enables the info page header displayed when you change the channel.
Apparently when exiting smart hub the widget tries to load the info page and the tv did not has gone to the channel yet so this page does not exist.
As a result there is this error. It does not happen when samygo is not active.
2. I do not see what the hospitality hack can do on the switch on problem.
I do have my recordings encryption free so that is not the problem. My firmware does not need this hospitality hack ?
The problem is that the recording or the viewing does not start when the tv is on standby. I have no idea why but schedules do not have much use if the tv needs to stay on all the time.

Re: autostart samygo and recording schedule problem
1. doch, html page is what is missing when samygo starts. when index.html is placed, then no error 404 occur.
2. hospitality hack can be combined to widget(need adapt the code), but better to use it alone, w/o widget. We have script which can be started when tv is powered on to disable pvr encrypting (You can install it through webif). For this widget isn`t needed at all.

Re: autostart samygo and recording schedule problem
Hi juuso,
OOps I need to have a closer look and find more about the html page.....
I also need to look again at the hospitality hack. I did read somewhere that it was not needed if you had the older firmware.
Thanks again for the clarification !

Re: autostart samygo and recording schedule problem
Ummm, that's new to me... the Hospitality hack wiki says "Limitation - no patches like BigYellow fonts, CHannelInfo and other available this way.", which includes PVR disable patch I assume...juuso wrote:2. hospitality hack can be combined to widget(need adapt the code), but better to use it alone, w/o widget. Does that mean that the wiki is not up-to-date?
If PVR disable is possible with Hospitality hack, does that apply to Mstar models too? Looking at the webif page it doesn't seem so... Mstar owners are left alone again :-\
