i think i read about it in the manual,
connect your PC via HDMI to HDMI3 (this is the supposed to be PC connection).
I haven`t tried it often but last time i had no problems.
Can firmware fix this?

Re: Can firmware fix this?
Even if he connect via HDMI3 and with Game Mode On, there is too much input lag on this tv. I don't think that if that is fixable. Might you try to switch lower resolutions. This will break `native` mode but if you have 40" panel like me, I think that full hd is overkill already. There is no thing to do about that because AFAIK exeDSP is not process HDMI inputs but only divert the channels to TV output. Lag because of TV's internal chips.
So nothing to do with it. Might be you can think on new led TV's. They will be cheaper this year

Re: Can firmware fix this?
actually i tried it after posting,
i connected my PC via DVI to HDMI cable on HDMI3.
HDMI3 was tagged as "DVI PC".
Game mode setting was grayed out and i can`t recognize any input lag.
Same cable connected to HDMI2 and Game Mode had clearly an input lag.

Re: Can firmware fix this?
Yes, HDMI3 port could have clearly minimum delay. I read big article about it.
For detecting lag, you can try to watch movie from TV, but using internal computer speakers.

Re: Can firmware fix this?
hdmi3 is not pc conenction if you connect with hdmi->hdmi cable, if you want you need use dvi -> hdmi cable and connect to that hdmi3/dvi port.dasilverpaladin wrote:i think i read about it in the manual,

hdmi3/dvi port detecting dvi source. if it's not dvi it's simply hdmi, if it is dvi tv bypass video processor and you get similiar result as for pc connection.erdem_ua wrote:Yes, HDMI3 port could have clearly minimum delay. I read big article about it.

then you have the same input lag as vga pc connection.

Re: Can firmware fix this?
You know that HDMI is simply nothing else as DVI with an different usb like (consumer friendly) plug?
And yes, i use an DVI-->HDMI cable, my TV recognizes the connection as 1920x1080 @60Hz,
the HDMI input is clearly connected to VGA input as its on the same bracket,
gonna sleep now and after that gonna try it without the "DVI PC" tag.
I think this renaming is substantial about the input on HDMI3.

Re: Can firmware fix this?
not really, hdmi is more than dvi.dasilverpaladin wrote:You know that HDMI is simply nothing else as DVI with an different usb like (consumer friendly) plug?
I'm not sure what you mean the same bracket.dasilverpaladin wrote: And yes, i use an DVI-->HDMI cable, my TV recognizes the connection as 1920x1080 @60Hz,

if you mean vga input port and dvi/hdmi3 is together connected ? it's not, it's completly diffrent thing, dvi/hdmi port use digital signal, vga port use analog
