I have a couple "H" modelled TVs, there are demos of a hospitality mode tv. They have been bricked due to bad firmwares. They just flash their red status light and don't turn on.
Samsung says to "recycle" them. Meaning throw them out. Seems like such a waste of great LEDs...
I'd like to get them to at least a bare minimum being able to display what's coming in the the hdmi port.
Hopefully I can bypass the whole "smart tv" computer and just get them at raw "dumb" displays...
Any suggestions where to start???
"H" Models? Bricked!
Re: "H" Models? Bricked!
You could try to attach ExLink cable to get boot log. No much chance rs232 is set to debug, but this info would help to understand why "bricked".
Also you could order spare mainboards (new or used) and simply swap them. If other parts of TV aren`t damaged, you`ll get fully operating TV.
