Iplayer in Canada & live stream from PC ?

Hi,

I've had a google and spent some time looking through the forums with no luck so hoping someone can point me in the right direction !

I am from england and moved to Canada and bought a Samsung Smart TV recently and have managed to get onto the menu and make the TV 'think' it's an English one so downloaded BBC Iplayer, ITV Player etc. I also have overplay Smart DNS and the ITV Player works (though skips sometimes) but BBC Iplayer wont play anything and all I get is a continuous buffering 'swirl' that eventually times out. Any ideas?

I would also like to start a live stream on the home PC and be able to watch it on the Samsung TV through my wireless network (i.e. without having a HDMI cable from the laptop to the TV). I've read that TVersity will be able to do this but haven't ben able to find the actual instructions to do it. All Share play on the TV will find the TVersity server and play the movies on there but I want to watch Live streams also.

Any help would be apprecietd.

you should try vpn services to let TV think you`re still in UK.

Ive done that with smart dns and also a vpn with no luck.

Itv player works but bbc iplayer continually times out.

The speed is plenty fast enough and the tv is hard wired but still the same issue
