[SOLVED] Brick during OTN

Post by prairie »

Hi guys - had a problem with OTN downgrade using samygo server. The download and reboot occurred and flashing seemed to go fine but TV just reboots and begins the flash process every time. D-8000 T-GAP8AKUC1018 (modified) was on-board, can someone check logs to see what was sent? server address used was 149.154.159.134 Looks like I will have to scrounge around for another main board ;)

Any theories on what happened based on this and debug log? Maybe file was corrupted in transit?

perhaps you can execute run.sh from USB? Exlink cable access (i think you should have patched kernel and console unlocked). Weird if after firmware upgrade rs232 is automatically set to logic.

oops, you`ve log. Then what about shell? (use 23331003 {ENTER} and ctrl+c after you unlock console)

yes I tried terminal input but it looks like this is onboot and not normal kernel so console doesn't do anything. I do have the patched kernel but it doesn't get that far.

the kernel is original one, console unlock is during boot!

you changed smthg in rootfs?
also the extensions are executed once.

when the bootloop started? on first boot after downgrade?

ok, I misunderstood how console unlock works.

I didn't change anything, this happened on 1st reboot after download, where FW gets flashed to it's partition.
