Possible to record from HDMI port?

Hi there. I have an ES6900 series and with a Hard Drive connected to the USB port, I can happily record from the satellite or cable services.

However, I cannot record anything connected to an HDMI port, even if it is an external satellite receiver.

Is there a way to record the content arrive via HDMI? Whether that is an external Satellite receiver, Apple TV etc?

No, here is no way to record from hdmi. Just maybe if you buy external pvr device...
