LE32D550 analog cable tuner quality

Hi, after a nightmarish "adventure" in the service menu (...) and making some unintended changes (EDID, Calibration, resets, you name it), I managed to get back to a normal picture. I have the impression though that the quality of the analog picture is worse than before my tweaking: more grain, blur, fuzzier, white dots etc. Colors are ok. DVD picture quality is ok. Tuner problem? Any ideas as to the cause & remedy are most welcome.

Text for instance is clearly less readable (fuzzy edges, shadows, ...)
