Samsung Remote: Assigning the A, B, C, D buttons to Apps

Post by sa2000 »

Had this initially posted n the F Series forum section but is general and applies to all Samsung TVs that runs Apps so posting here in the General forum

I have just got a UE55F6740 and have started to use 'PLEX for Samsung' App and would like to make this app available through a simple remote control interface.

I am not sure if this was raised before, but how does one get Samsung to look into the suggestion of offering Menu Setup facility to program the A, B. C, D buttons on the remote control to assign them to specific selections, eg Samsung Apps to save having to go through the Smart Hub, Apps, sub menus
