Hello I have this tv for a couple of years now.

I am wondering if this tv is supported...
it has been bought in belgium but i want to install freesat on it.. is it possible to add the freesat option it only has canaal digitaal/tvv/telesat option so when i tune manually telesat i have a messed up channel list..

I installed the samygo app on smart hub but it has no effect when I start it.
I think the firmware is T-GASDEUC-1018.0 orT-GENDEUS1-1003 i got that from the service menu.

can i put an uk firware on it?

you have to downgrade first. Use dns trick.

thank you i successfully downgraded using dns trick.
it installed firmware 1090 which is by the way higher than 1018 but i assume it is meant to be 1009?

now i am trying to set the code to uk so that i can get freesat epg, etc but ruSTVC does not find the television...is there a way via system menu to change the tv country code.. i already set smart hub to uk the tv was bought in belgium..

The remote control is enabled.
i have installed samygo remote control app as well as the official samsung remote control from the app store (google play) and they can both connect to the tv from smartphone.. which is connected with wifi, exactly as the tv and as the laptop running windows vista/7.
but somehow the ruSTVC can't find the tv.
it is true that the tv does not appear as a upnp device on my windows and setting the ip in the ini files does not seem to help...
all firewall are off and i even set the tv ip on a dmz still it cannot find the television.

I have not installed yet any other application from samygo just the rooting widget. should i install something to allow the tv to show up as a upnp device on windows vista/7?

No, it should work "as is". No idea why ruSTVC won`t work at you, but if you can use another available methods eg IR transceiver or universal remote control, arduino and so on.

I Tried from another computer using vista and it worked.

i have managed to set the locale to eu_uk and in auto tuning I get freesat

do i have to rescan all the channels using auto tuning in order to get epg.. i still get no information on the epg.
