There is a 3,5 mm Stereo phone jack at back but it is for a headphone. Maybe it is also used as Service Port? There is a serial port because I can change the mode in the service menu.
It is a question, because I have both jacks: one is labeled Headphone a other one is labeled Service.

I guess, samsung removed service port from back panel. But You could try if that jack is working as RS232...
There is another header soldered on mainboard (at least in our models), so that configuration might set that port.
Reaching to that port requires disassemble your new TV which I don't wanted from you, but anyway you can make it for curiosity :)
If you make such a thing, please take high resolution pictures for us :)

It seems to me that Samsung is closing back-doors both in HW and SW, not only for customers, but even for servicemen, but they probably do repairs only as exchange of parts, they don't analyze device thoroughly before repair anymore.
