App saving and reinstalling

Hello,

i have successfully rooted my tv yesterday, must say worked like a charm...
The reason i have rooted it was, so i could save f.e. Netflix from the UK Store.
This is nessecary for me since i live in germany and the new netflix app from the us store wont open using my german UE55F8000
Thats the reason i wnat it for backup on my PC.
I also want diffrent apps from diffrent locations.
f.e. ITV Player from UK, Netflix from US, Watchever from Germany in my Smart Hub.

Yesterday I have tried saving f.r. watchever from the german store, wich i did succesfully.
Now when i Zip the app and add it to the Widget Manager and try to Synchronize it with my TV i get an Error...

Further more, it wont allow me to Download the Netflix App from the TV.
Is there an tutorial on how to proberly save Apss and then Reinstall them to you TV under an diffrent country setting?

I have even try this out for more than two times..But it can't help me..Can you suggest some more ideas..I have tried it to Reinstall ..But it is terminated after half done..Any ideas???

I think I just figured out why the new Netflix v4.005 doesn't work on non US TV's. It seems if you download the app, it downloads one more .zip, which is not available for non US firmware. I will double check my findings and if thats the problem, then i believe we can get it working. I have the .zip, but now i need to figure out where does it need to be. As i can't root my Evolution Kit, thats going to be hard. So if anyone with rooted F series TV wants to help, please contact me.

Known problem the new netflix app checks your serial of the tv... If you reset the smart hub then switch f.e. To germany it will erase all apps from the us store, then rest the smart hub again just for safety... After that set the tv to uk it will download the old version of netflix, then switch back to us which will erase all apps except the netflix app... Disable autoupdate and there you go netflix working again... I just want to have apps from diffrent countrys f.e. German apps , uk apps and some us apps...

No, I can't see anywhere that it has a serial check. It doesn't even check for TV region (like Vudu app does). The problem is that the app you see in apps folder is only one part of the app. If you move only that to another region then it does not work because you are missing most of the app. I have both parts, only problem is that I don't know where the other part needs to be.

Old version (v3) of the app actually works the same way, it has two parts. That's why it doesn't work if you move it to another region, you are moving only one part.
As we can install the v3 and I know the name of the second part, we should be able to find where it needs to be. If we know that, then we can copy both parts of the new v4 app to the correct locations and it should work.

Problem is that I don't have root access so I can't look for the location where it is.

I have a rooted F Series (Germany), but don't have Netflix installed so far I guess. I didn't try to change the region to install other apps, but I could try (how?) if you need help. Besides the apps, will there be any other changes when changing hte SmartHub region? (Channel List, Settings...)?

Also, are there any config files in that folder?

No config files in 'emps' folder. I'm on Netflix 3.229 within a US region Smart Hub running UA50F6400AM on 1116.2
