I've switched between the internal dvb-t on the tv and it correctly shows 4:3 as 4:3 with the following settings
Picture Size: Auto Wide
4:3 Screen Size: 4:3
selecting 4:3 on hdmi gives me 4:3 as wanted, but for some reason you have to manualy set this when wanting to display 4:3 over hdmi instead of 16:9, when I goto the menu,
picture size: auto wide and screen fit
are both grayed out along with the 4:3 screen size option, is there anyway to get it to auto switch between 4:3 & 16:9 like it does for dvb-t? I heard renaming the hdmi outputs locks / unlocks various settings but i'm none the wiser with the above
can you guys offer any advice?
could the problem be it's upscaling to 576p instead of outputting 576i, will I have to settle for using rgb-scart instead for autoswitching between 4:3 and 16:9, both the above two options are available for rgb-scart unlike hdmi where there grayed out, i'm guessing there disabled for component also?
