Thanks to all of you for the support and the ideas...
I have the Samsung Galaxy tab 3 tablet with IR port and already programed the Samsung IR universal remote (play and pause buttons) with the "factory" and the "3speed" keys...
Can someone please tell me how and where to apply the keys - I assume I should go to Service Menu, then probably go over the Advanced menu and then send the keys... Is there any specific sequence? Shall I send both "factory" and "3speed" keys or just one of them?
Thanks again!
Just tried but nothing happens - the menu just blinks but no other options become available and still can not expand the advanced menu... Respectively - Media Play DLNA option is still grayed and OFF and I can not change it...
Am I doing something wrong?
If menu "blinked" it means keys had been well sent. Maybe it's simply not possible to unlock these DLNA options on your TV model, because they're *really* unavailable.
I still think it's a matter of settings - even now I can browse my DLNA server content - I only can not play the files - that means it works but not completely...
Moreover, there is at least one forum user who already confirmed it works - he had the same TV but 26" model (mine's 32").

I am afraid my TV hacking abilities are not so good and I may end up with a not responding or completely messed up TV if I go for root...
I may buy another android mini pc and connect it to the TV - this way I will make it "very" smart and for sure I will be able to play all my DLNA server files. I may spend some more money but still it will be cheaper than buying another TV...
