Okay so now you should have both. run this command:

Code: Select all

ls /dtv/usb/
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!

Just as a tip, if it's required to disconnect the USB without powering off the tv, it can be done by selecting the Source menu and then pressing at least 2 secs on the icon showing the USB device until a message pops up with the option safely disconnect the device - it's almost similar with the Windows notification from the systray "Now you can safely unplug...."

Crap! Don't tell me it was just a matter of trying the USB stick on another USB port! I'll start banging my head on the walls till the Second Coming!

Yeah but if there are rooting commands running on the USB it will either:
1) don't work
OR
2) Break something anyway :)
