FTP should work WITHOUT samyext4.img. You probably broke something with your usb or you didn't disable OTN Support

OTN/OTA is disabled... of course. My first action after the 6470 arrived Firmware ist 2130.

So I'll do a factory reset tomorrorow and a fresh install with the latest files from page 1. The changelog says that you fixed something in the nfs and samba.init files ...

is there any work being done for the tv's with T-NT14MAKUC firmware? i have that firmware on my tv and im willing to experiment/test on it for the team. id ship it to ya but the shipping cost is more than the pile of crap is worth.

Maybe, but not yet official. We have something for T-NT14 models. When we finish with testing, i`m sure the update will be available here. But not yet. A lot of stuff is left unchecked...process can require a lot of time until method will be published. Until that, you have to try updated method for NON- MST models:

Should work for T-GFS and T-GPT(?) firmwares. Does not work on T-NT14 firmwares.

1. Install SamyGO widget as described in MST section
2. Do not power off TV
   Check if you have changed as described:

   Menu->System->General->Quickly Power OFF Samsung - this option must be OFF
   Menu->System->General->Samsung Instant ON -this option must be ON

3. Set scheduled power on (use most close schedule as possible)
4. power off TV and wait for TV power on
5. Check telnet on 23 port after you get picture
6. Check ssh on 22 port after you get picture (user: root, password: SamyGO)
   If root succeed, set:
7. Menu->System->General->Samsung Instant ON - OFF

now should i try this EVEN if i cant get skype installed??

With a samyext4.img I have my TV rooted allowing Samba and multiregion apps, post with exact firmware etc to follow, but is there a changelog for it somewhere so I can check to see what changes updating the file will cause?
