H Series PVR Decoding failure

Post by inFiniTyzZ »

Hello Guys,

i donated to this forum and rooted my UE40H5570 successfully!!
Telnet and FTP works also.
I needed the root for PVR Decrypting.

So I tested it and get always the same error in the latest Decoder:
SpoilerShow
Examining DRM status for file ...
Recording is DRM protected
Uploading decoder library to TV
Removing any old work log
Starting the decoding process on TV
Waiting for TV to produce feedback ... 00:00:04 seconds (max. 5 sec.)
UnDRM.log never seemed to appear in /dtv .. 5 second timeout expired. Cannot continue.
Process FAILED somewhere down the road for 20150306134731.srf.
All recordings on USB listed. Waiting for user.
Operation finished .. Waiting for user..
I setted already the permissions.

Regards

Ok I installed NoDRM and have a little question: If I record direct via samba on my server, is then the srf full decrypted that I can rename the file in a Transport Stream type or how?

With NoDRM .srf file is fully decrypte :P
I do NOT support "latest fw" at ALL. If you have one you should block updates on router and wait for it to STOP being "latest":)
If you want me to help you please paste FULL log(s) to "spoiler"/"code" bbcodes or provide link(s) to pasted file(s) on https://pastebin.com Otherwise "NO HELP"!!!
If you want root DISABLE internet access to your device!!!!
DO NOT EVER INSTALL FIRMWARE UPGRADE !!!!

Yeah works like a charm. You can use "my method". Do you want to store files on samba server and NOT watch them on any other device ? Or do you want to copy files to play them somewhere else ?

Hello, i have this Server as NAS backup server and Media Server for my TV. I control the Server with TeamViewer and Wake on LAN.

I think its easier if it works that I can rename the srf to a ts.

I want to watch the recorded files on other devices, yes.
