My F8000 is rooted with the new rooting method resident on USB.
Since a few days, after a non repetitive time (can be 15 minutes but also 1 hour), the TV switches off with a click and immediately after on again.
Samygo automatic widget some time restart immediately and some time restart when I change channel or press the source button from the remote.
Immediately before of the switch off, the TV becomes unresponsive to any remote command.
It looks like the TV is bombed and make a reboot. The behaviour is very similar to when I play with telnet with some modules that are not digested by the TV.
Now it is a few days it does not happen anymore but I observed it few times in the last week.
Possibly is related to something that Samsung is trying to do in backgroud (even if OTN support is OFF) because every now and then it appears a SmartHub popup that ask me to update firmware because of very important updates.
Did anybody observe the same ?
Is there a way to start a log waiting the issue to occur again in order to debug it ?
Suddenly OFF and ON again.

Re: Suddenly OFF and ON again.
I have the same problems with my UA55F7500BRXXV. And when I disconnected LAN cable and select cable in Network menu >>> the problems gone...
Re: Suddenly OFF and ON again.
I have the same problem, did you fix this?
Re: Suddenly OFF and ON again.
No but I have a strong suspect that this is the result of samsung Trying to do something on rooted TV.kipk wrote:I have the same problem, did you fix this?
Some times it happens once/twice a day after half an hour from swith on and after for weeks nothing....
The period of this behaviour is quite similar on both my TV (it cannot be a cohincidence...).
This kind of behaviour is not compatible with HW Power Supply issue and seems more SW commanded ...

Re: Suddenly OFF and ON again.
Thx for your reply,
its strange if samsung trying something on rooted tv, then there most be many other people with this issue. I have search many hours to find this problem on google or samygo topics but I cant find not much info about this problem. I had my samsung tv rooted before maybe 1 year ago with other firmware and other root files I think, I had never this problem with the tv turns off auromatically.
Sorry for my bad english.

It is just a guess from my side. It cannot be a HW problem that manifest only a few days and then nothing for months ...kipk wrote:Thx for your reply,

What is really strange is that, a few seconds before of the OFF (you must be luky to find the real moment), if you try to change the channel or modify the volume, the TV remains unresponsive ... bombed ... this looks really very similar to when you are doing something wrong within the SW ...
Possibly this issue is affecting only rooted TV with blocked OTN and this is the reason why you cannot find very much of this in google.
Try to call Samsung assistance and explain the issue ... I guss they will ask which SW version you have installed and will ask you to upgrade to the latest...
