UN55H6300 PVR setting

I have read and read as many post as I find on how to turn on the PVR setting on TV however, I cannot get any thing to work. I get to the service menu and change the PVR setting to 1 but when I exit the menu (by turning off the TV) it changes back to 0. I have been unable to find anything that says PVR On/Off. Please help. I do have to let you know I am nor very good when it comes to things like this. I need as detailed instructions as possible.
