I have new UN40H5203 (North America) T-NT14MAKUC_1117.0 and here's where I am.
I already have a Harmony 350 remote for which I asked Logitech to add [3SPEED] and [FACTORY] keys. Logitech did and the keys work.
For this TV UN40H5203 (North America) T-NT14MAKUC_1117.0:
With TV Off: [MUTE] [1] [8] [2] [POWER] access Service Menu
With TV On:
[FACTORY] access Service MenuOption | MRT Option
OTN Support is set to "_" and is greyed out
OTA Support is "OFF" and changeable to "general"
Language_Arabic is set to "US" and is greyed out
Region is set to "USA" and is greyed out
So far, as many suspect and others know, 3SPEED+FACTORY have no effect on this H Series (North America) TV when trying to access extended service menu.
Haven't connected to the network and thus haven't updated (can't even run SmartHub as I skipped "Network Settings in Setup)> I have no WiFi router available to the TV. Don't see any Open WiFi in the area. To "disable updates" I was thinking of monkeying with Option | MRT Option | NETWORK Support to "NotSupport." The other options are "Ext-WiFi" "Cable" and the Default is Int-WiFi.
I'll dump some screenshots of the menus to the thread if anyone wants. I am brave and willing to fiddle. Suggestions? I wanna root this thing someday.
