[How To] Get root access on F series

A question about skype:
I reinstalled skype for reinstall samygo. Does the newest Skype version still work for root the TV? I get all steps okay, but don't get ftp connection. Same thing with the samygo extensions.

Now I tried rooting the f7080 with the new method and it works without a problem. So I fear it is not possible anymore to root with the old method on the newest skype version.

1) Maybe someone can try this too, so users can be warned in first post when this is really true
2) Is it possible to load an old version of skype with the widget manager to the TV?
