[ROOT] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares

I have manged to get root access once after using the above instructions and was able to FTP in and get directory but now each time I turn TV on it freezes after a minute or so or if you try to start smart hub it reboots.....if you take the USB stick out it will boot okay but without root access....any suggestions much appreciated ..thank you

(I have a UE 22F5410 which has latest firmware 2114.1 (T-MST12DEUC-2114.1)

Disable Watchdog from service menu

If still no luck, disable /mnt/etc/init.d/99_99_*.init scripts (rename them to .dis through FTP).

Lol this does NOT look as log from NETCAT. Please use NETCAT. Without it NO HELP

Netcat doesn't work on my win 10 maschine, i have used Nmap.
I hope that is okay

I have a similiar problem: After a few minutes my UE F6470 reboots. FTP Access is given before reboot.
Deactiveted Wachtdog freezes TV, all 99_99*.init are deactivated with .dis.
Any further hints?

No. You downloaded Ncat. But you need NETCAT Different program

Hi guys, i have a problem with the root of my F5500 MST v2104.

Some months ago I've done the root procedure. Everything was ok! Yesterday I was trying to enable NFS and I noticed that telnet was not working anymore. After a reset (from the main menu), I applied the root procedure (I'm a donor). I have tried all the options listed in the first post, but no lucky.

Log speaks by itself, you missed something in procedure, and/or omitted some required file:

unzip:  cannot find or open /mtd_rwcommon/widgets/user/SamyGO/data/data.zip

Follow carefully 1st post like you did "some months ago"
Btw, in case of root loss, no need to "reset" anything, just relaunch once installation widget, done.

I already had the "data.zip" file in the "SamyGO_data" folder of my pendrive this is what I don't understand
