Is any alternative firmware for Samsung LE19B650T6W available? For ex., to show pictures from USB drive?
I've seen somewhere that TV's hardware supports such functionality.

And, is original firmware open source? Where can I download it?

Hi all,
could somebody please create alternative firmware with only one feature added - to change source from TV to HDMI by pressing one button? (change from HDMI to TV is possible, if I press TV button, but it doesn't work back - why don't utilize it?)
I've already tied to press Source button 4 times to change source to HDMI...

Which HDMI? There was multiple of them... It's might be possible but it's not worth to effort.

In my TV there is only one HDMI
This is small 19 inches TV.

You don't wait for special firmware for that.
You can make it if you have some reverse engineering capabilities.
But we can't. At least I don't want to program such a thing It's little benefit for too much work...

But where can I download source code of LE19B650T6W firmware?
Tried to raise the same question to Samsung Open Source team (e-mail starts with oss., don't remember it exactly now) and they've replied that I should download it from local Samsung site. Local site doesn't contain it and local Samsung support refers me to Service Centers, heh...

(btw, with regards to benefits - it is not litte, at least for me - I've already tied pressing that Source button to change source from TV to HDMI ;)

This tv is not open sourced. It has open sourced linux kernel and libraries. But "main" firmware is still closed source... So you can't play with it for make your "one button that changes input" hack.
You needed to use deisassembler and make something fixed / hacked in assembly level.

You can write email to samsung. But simply they won't accept your request.

Got another idea - if it would be possible to change sequence of sources from
- TV
- External
- PC
- HDMI
to
- TV
- HDMI
...
it would help me also.
Is it possible with that part of source code, which is available?
