So I would have to change the proxy settings on my router? Correct? Or are you referring to some settings on the TV?

I will attempt that but I think my internet connection will drop if I remove the proxy settings when connecting to my ISP.

why this should happen?

I just entered my IP into the browser to see what happens and it turns out that it is blocked by my ISP as a security measure since it is an auto-response IP address. Anyone have a work around for this?

simplest solution is that you change to one ISP who not make censorship.
btw. you have tried to install the widget again?

So after giving up initially, I decided to come back ad try again. It seems like the download does start! (yay!)
However it is taking forever. Any idea how big the files are so that I can judge how long it should take on my internet connection.

i disabled proxy check for dubai, but seems your isp do some kind of filtering and samsungs implementation for network communication is also not a really bug-free design. the files are btw. 30 and 50 MB.
